KuduCraft — Terms and Conditions

By using KuduCraft, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. What KuduCraft Does

KuduCraft is an automated image-to-embroidery conversion platform. We convert uploaded images into machine embroidery files (PES, DST) and hand embroidery pattern PDFs. Our service is automated — no human digitizer reviews your designs.

2. Your Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
One account per person. Shared accounts may be suspended.

3. What You Can Upload

You may only upload images you own or have permission to use.
You may NOT upload copyrighted logos, trademarks, or designs belonging to others without their permission.
You may NOT upload illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
KuduCraft is not responsible for verifying your ownership of uploaded images.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

4. Automated Output — No Guarantees of Perfection

Important: KuduCraft uses automated software to convert images into embroidery files. Results are approximate and may not be identical to professionally hand-digitized designs. Specifically:

Colors in the output may differ slightly from the original image.
Fine details, small text, or complex patterns may not convert perfectly.
Machine embroidery results depend on your specific machine, thread, fabric, and settings — factors outside our control.
Hand embroidery patterns are guides — the final result depends on the stitcher's skill and materials.

We do not guarantee that every output will be suitable for your specific purpose. We strongly recommend testing designs on scrap fabric before using on final garments.

5. Pricing and Payments

Free tier: Limited hand embroidery PDF patterns per month. No payment required.
Paid plans: Monthly or annual subscriptions with access to features included in your plan tier. See our pricing page for current plans and details.
Pay-per-design: One-off purchases available without subscription.
All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.

6. Subscriptions and Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month.
Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year.
You may cancel at any time through your account settings.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
No refunds for partial billing periods.
After cancellation, you retain access until your paid period ends.

7. One-Off Purchases

One-off design purchases are non-refundable once the file has been generated and made available for download.
If you experience a technical issue with your file, contact us and we will do our best to help — either by re-generating the file or issuing a refund at our discretion.

8. Refund Policy

Subscriptions: No refunds for partial periods. Cancel anytime to stop future charges.
One-off purchases: Non-refundable after file delivery.
Exceptions: If a technical error on our end prevents you from receiving your file, we will either re-generate it or issue a refund at our discretion.
Not eligible for refund: "I don't like how it looks" — our preview feature lets you see the result BEFORE downloading. Please use it.

9. Your Data

Uploaded images are stored temporarily for processing.
Generated files are stored in your account for re-download.
We may delete uploaded images and generated files after 90 days of inactivity.

10. Our Liability

KuduCraft is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for any damage to your embroidery machine, fabric, or materials resulting from using our files.
We are not liable for any business losses resulting from design quality.
In the unlikely event of a valid claim, our maximum liability is capped at the amount you paid for the specific design or subscription period in question. This is a liability cap, not a guarantee of refund.

11. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of images you upload.
You retain ownership of the embroidery files and patterns generated from your images.
The KuduCraft platform, software, and brand are our intellectual property.
You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our software.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use KuduCraft for any illegal purpose.
Upload content prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy (see separate document).
Attempt to overload, hack, or disrupt our service.
Create automated scripts to bulk-download or bulk-process designs without a paid plan.
Resell KuduCraft's service as your own.

Violations of our Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, reporting to law enforcement.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time.
We will notify you of significant changes via email.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
